Do they only ask questions? Has anyone yet seen them answer a question?

OBama's question has been answered repeatedly over the past 250 years- just read history and politics. McCain a few days ago and now Hillary, also asked a question. For Hillary the answers have been readily available with easy access, for the last 30 years, and models of how to implement her issue exist in European and some Latin American countries-- so why ask us when the answer is before her eyes?

It seems the the goal is not to seek real answers, after all the greatest minds have been hashing this stuff out for numerous years, but more so to engage the populace in whatever way possible. Do I see this as a sincere effort to obtain info-- not for a minute. Do I see it as an effort to engage us- yep!

The realities are, this is what political commercials attempt to do... but they're a passive format.

Their real motivation, and that of all the other "Special Question" askers, is the same as Yahoo's motivation -- free publicity.

I seriously doubt they answer questions -- but you could go to their Profile pages and see.

Edit: That's right, McCain did, too (I don't usually pay much attention to those "Special" questions). Why do so many have a problem with Clinton and Obama, and not with McCain?

Children, can you say "hypocrite"?

They the two might make solid Presidents. whether, Hillary might purely shop on the comparable previous Washington politics and proceed the Clinton/Bush dynasty. Obama could be a fresh exchange for the country and the international.

It's the cheapest publicity they could find, targeting a young, national demographic. Hilary left her last question up to a vote for best answer...it had something like 30,000 answers!! I doubt she even posed the question personally.

Its just another tool in the publicity campaign ... trying to craft an image. of course they aren't actually interested in anything we have to say.

but it conveys that "I'm in touch with the common man, I care, I'm engaging the public" persona

A sad attempt to gain the votes of the younger generation.

I wonder, who gets the best answer? Do they go through all of them? I've seen a question from McCain on here too. probably just publicity.

It bugs me. They are like telemarketers. We're plastered with pols' messages all over the place. I'd rather they leave us alone. We can ask and answer our own questions.

They're just trying to get attention and make people think they actually care about the people's opinions (they really don't care at all).
