Technically the best soil for cannabis is dry and sandy. The best (and oldest recorded cannabis growth in the world) was grown in the middle east and ancient China in dry and sandy soil.
Also, it is particularly helpful to grow it at high altitudes, soas to get a high THC content, and a good variable of female plants.
This way you can cultivate "charras" which is a potent form of High grade hashish.

like the guy above says, sandy (not too sandy maybe 1:1 mass ratio), it helps keep the soil oxygenated. there are some good online guides for growing weed.
