When someone goes into the clergy, no matter what religion, people usually refer to it as a 'calling'. They feel like it is a 'call from the Lord'. That they have been chosen; not like other professions where YOU have made the choise. If you feel that you have not had 'the call' then you can argue that your work in the service of the Lord is not in the capacity of a priest. Service to the Lord can be found in any life experience....but to be 'called' is different. I have no website to direct you to....just my old experience.

Well, brother: It's easier to follow Jesus if you live in a church. In the outside society, you are tempted by money, women, power, fame, and greed. You want the easy job or the hard one ? You are a man, a real man, so you want to meet the challenge. You want to walk with God on the dirty streets, not in the beautiful barkyard of a church !!!

I hear you, i couldn't be a priest, but a pastor is totally different. It's up to your beliefs and how willing you are to serve God. Are you catholic, christian, buddist, agnostic... ? I gotta go eat, good luck..

Sex. The Catholic Church believes that priests are married to the church, therefore they cannot be married in real life, which brings the lack of sex in an environment where sex outside of marriage is wrong. One would argue that sex is natural and God-given, and to deny what God has given is to not accept a blessing.
