If the eject button does not work you are having a power issue. First thing is first check to see if the power is plugged in. When you boot up the computer you will see the amber/green light flick a few times during the startup process if you have power. Try using one of the other power cables.
If it still doesn't work use a circuit tester to see if you are gettin DC power on the connection points of the power cable. Perhaps even consider getting another power supply if all else fails.

Turn off your machine - Open up the left side - There will be a white think power cable plugged into your CD Drive. Unplug then plug the cable back in. If it still doesnt work - You probably have another one you can use...

With the power cord removed, open the case and make sure that the ribbon and power cables are firmly seated into the slots on the back of the drive by firmly pushing them into the slots. Then close the case and try the drive again. Good luck.
