I don't think there is a downloadable Safari.app, I might be wrong tho. What you can do is download Pacifist (shareware) from the link below and use it to extract and install Safari.app from your install disk. Pacifist will install it to the default directory, Applications. After installing run Software Update from System Preferences to update Safari to the latest version. Hint: Don't move any Apple software from their original directories, if you do move them, move them back before installing any Apple supplied updates.

Hi coc0nut,

You would install Safari in your Applications folder with all of your other programs. Is that what you mean, or did you delete Safari and want to download it back onto your MacBook Pro?

Do a Spotlight or Find search and type Safari.app and if it can't find it, look for your OS DVD disc.

You would normally get the Safari program off of your Mac's OS X DVD disc. I don't think that you can get a copy from the Apple web site or from Version Tracker. Best of luck to you. If you deleted it, you might be able to drag it from the DVD to your Mac. Unfortunately, you might have to re-install your Mac OS.

Best of luck
