I'm going to Mexico and I need shoes for in the water, since it is very rocky at first. I don't like the look of traditional water shoes at all. Are there other shoes that would be good for going in the ocean with that are somewhat attractive? Or maybe they don't cover your whole foot? Thank you.

It's going to be inside the ocean, so flip flops won't work.
I'd rather the shoes were lightweight.

You could try Teva's... Not exactly cute, but really durable and they don't cover the whole foot. And they are completely adjustable. I dunno... But I'd rather wear them then those awful water shoes! Oh but they can be pricey...
