because that is what society vaules.....thinness....not intelligent, personality, or character but instead the amount a persons weight.....dont let it bother you.....let them act like jerks and you continue to be the person you are.....in the end they will get theirs....in the form of karma....and besides most of the thin chicks from school will get pregnant and fat and end up unhappy in life because they never had anything beside their weight to make them feel good.

It's not just in school, its everywhere. A "thin" body-type is the ultimate goal of every woman in America, whether they want to admit it or not. Why do you think billions of dollars are made on diet products each year?
It's because we live in society that is obssesed with physical beauty. Beauty of the soul, and greatness of character are all but ignored today. It's part of the general degredation of society.

Because our society has told us that thin is the best thing to be. All the models look anorexic, and all the best clothes seem to be for skinny girls. Anorexia is running rampant and everyone wants to be skinny.
If society tells you it's the best way, you think you're great if you're skinny.

I don't know honey.I think that a girl with some meat on her bones is beautiful and chicas who can hide behind a streetlight pole to be creepy.I am not just saying that cause I got some meet on my bones.Don't feed into this whole craze about being skinny. Just live your life in your own beautiful body.I feel sorry for those skinny girls. They must be cold in the winter!

Same thing when i was in school many years ago. But i found it so amusing years down the road when i seen most of um unhappy & in a marrige they hated and with kids that acted worse then them! Hahahaha Believe in yourself & hold your chin up high! The grass is not always greener on the other side! That and karma can really kick some ***! hehehehe

Because they have the pressure from our society and because of that they tend to get big egos. Thinking that they are better. But a lot of them are just like anyone else.

because the society makes it so that people HAVE to be skinny or they're not good enough.
