My friend, true family values have nothing to do with being either a Liberal or a Conservative. Take the far right and the far left out of the picture and most Americans are basically moderate in their views, their wants and needs and desires.
They care about their families, want to have and keep a steady job and keep a roof over their family's head.
When either Conservatives or Liberals claim 'family values' as their own that's simply total political BS.

I am a conservative and disagree with some of your beliefs, but I still admire someone that has core beliefs.
