every person's hair reacts differently, try experimenting and if one or more of those side effects occur and u are not happy with th it, use a lip hair cream that stop hair from gwroing in certain areas.

It is VERY painful! It will be pink for awhile, but they're some ups to it. No inground hairs, like you get from waxing and shaving. (Even thought I've really never heard of a girl shaving her upper lip... eek.) Laser treatment is very expensive, and tweezing is cheap. If you do tweeze, keep up with it. Also, before you start tweezing, apply moisturizer. It helps soften the pores, and the hairs come out easier.

For some people it might grow back thicker, but I doubt it will ( it didn't for me lol). Tweezing is probably the best option because my friend uses cream and you can see it much thicker when it grows back. With tweezing it's more likely to actually grow back thinner because you're damaging the hair follicles. Only thing is the first time you do it it will HURT... so get some ice (or at least cold water) ready and just take it slow.
Take care.

In my experience, it doesn't do any of those things. I always pluck the hairs above my upper lip to keep it hair-free. It won't get darker, and over time tweezing will make the hairs grow slower. It might hurt, though .. and there might be some skin irritation.

OUCH is the only thing. The hair will not come back faster or darker. You can tweeze it or you can use a simple facial depilatory (hair remover).
Been there, understand

well, if you don't want to bleach, wax or get laser treatment and you are okay with tweezing...tweeze away! I have heard that waxing does the best job as far as the time it takes the hair to grow back.

It will not grow back darker or make it spread. It will grow back as hair does. The side effects will be red skin and possible red bumps. I'd put ice on the area before you begin and a good face cream when you finish.

Besides the pain of pulling out all those hairs on a sensitive area and the redness it will cause for a while
it will come back darker and will probably seem to come back faster since it will be darker and more noticable.
It won't spread, only the hair you pull out will come back darker.
