I have checked in some sites online and seems that the ranges go from 500 and above but I wish I could find something cheaper but decent.

Gee - the prices I have read here are low. The going prices in Virginia are $900 and up for a decent place.

I don't know, I live in Ontario, Canada and the lowest apartment rent I've seen is $220 a month and it's in Toronto! I don't think it gets any lower then that.

Anything else would be terrible. Get a nicer one and a roommate. You get to split the rent and the utilities.
