WOW! Never thought of that before. It only makes sense that they should do drug testing, and do randoms like they do at work as well!

And if they test positive - you're fired from welfare! LOL!

I think it would be wiser to spend the drug testing cost on getting them a job of some kind let the employer pay for the drug test if they fail the test sorry your off welfare if you pass they get a job and are off welfare or at least some of it If you lose the job it better be a good reason or you don't get back on. because with the wages now some people do need help(child care-health care) for the child only.

ther's usually kids involved .so in most cases they do if there is an incident. but welfare is broad anything from food stamps to a big check every month. and they check the kids. it depends on where you live. i've been on food stamps before. i looked at it as i was very low income and i worked and had a kid. the govt helps you if you are willing to help yourself. it's too deep to get into. the women that have all these kids also have a man that they don't claim so to speak. and the system doesn't hae enough money or man power to spy on these people. often the one 9on welfare is clean as a whistle but everything else in their life is dirty

Oh I love it! Absolutely! The only problem is, the state gives advance notice on "random" testing so the person has a chance to stay "clean" until the test. They actually need to do the hair drug testing.

actually there are some talks about that, but there was a fight about it saying it was unfair to people who weren't on drugs. i really don't know ...on one end i do believe people should be drug tested because many of the welfare recipients use the money to buy drugs or trade food stamp money for currency to buy drugs.
i think that taxpayers shouldn't have to pay taxes for welfare though. it should strictly come from government funds ...they have money to bomb and destroy countries just to spend billions rebuilding it. i call that stupidity.

I don't think we should have welfare, so it's a moot point to me. :)

In the illustrious words of Michael Jackson:
If You Cant Feed Your Baby (Yeah, Yeah)
Then Don't Have A Baby (Yeah, Yeah)
And Don't Think Maybe (Yeah, Yeah)
If You Can't Feed Your Baby (Yeah, Yeah)
You'll Be Always Tryin'
To Stop That Child From Cryin'
Hustlin', Stealin', Lyin'
Now Baby's Slowly Dyin'

Now if Wacko Jacko can figure this out, it's pretty simple.

p.s. Darkness, 'government funds' come from taxes.

I think all people should get drug tested...but then why does that matter because after they get the job they will start using unless they still give random drug test. Meth only stays in your blood for 3 days...they will probably get away with it!

I agree with you, but then what do we do about the hungry children, they're the one's that suffer either way, drugged out parents or no food and shelter. What can we do?

Brilliant idea. Too bad they support the drug abuse.
