i dont think so. In the middle ages, the chastity belt was more protection that anything. Rape was very common and if a father didnt want his daughter to have a child with someone that he didnt approve of, that was the only thing that he could really do. The father was the only one with the key so the daughter was safe tell she was married off to someone that her father felt was acceptable.... we arent in the middle ages anymore and parents dont have the right to tell someone who and who not to marry so they should have the right to choose who or who not to have sex with.

uh... not quite. they should talk to there daughter and be open about things. when it comes down to it, its the daughters choice about what she does with HER body. of course if her father were to sit down with her and have a mature, adult talk about how he feels, she would probably RESPECT him more and maybe even agree with him. if she doesnt, atleast she knows how her father feels about what she decides to do, and that he knows it is her choice. the father should also let her know that she could come to him with whatever she decides and he will love her no matter what. that way, the father could get her on birth control if she needs it and help her be safe about it all.

Sadly, fathers need to start these days before the teens appear.

If you make teen girls wear them then you'll also have to make teen boys wear them - it takes two to tango and it's really sexist to assume that only girls are to blame for teen pregnancy etc!
