Anybody in retail sales or business for themselves?...?

Question

Have you noticed business being kind of slow or not?

I am in landscaping business and I have not noticed much going on here in Tennessee in that area.

What about you?

what is the reason?

I work for myself,i do mainly academic work now, but I used to run both a retail and a service company. I think that work follows life, you have busy times and slow times. I imagine that in your work, that the weather effects it, also remember that people take holidays so do not want work doing then; and of course sometimes people are short of money to spend on such things. I wouldn`t worry too much, try to do some mail-shots and advertisements to let people know that you are around, and tell them what you can do for them. Good Luck. ( I`m in England, but I imagine that trade is very similar, no matter where you live)

I work for myself online and do have bad and good days. Not sure why when I'm doing the same things every other day.

I do notice things pick up when I start advertising campaigns but cant explain the slow times.
