shutdown -s -f -m \\computername -t 0
shutdown -s -f -m \\ip address -t 0

-r is for reboot
-s is for shutdown
-f forces any running applications to stop
-m is for remote machine
-t 0 is to reboot with no time delay. Otherwise there is a 60 second delay to shutdown.

You Most Be Talking About "Hacking". If Your School Does Not Let You Turn Off The Computer Is For A Reason. Careful, Mess With School Property And You Might Get In Trouble.

Turn off as in shut down? Um, I am gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you can't go start=>turn of computer.

In command prompt, type: shutdown and you will have various options with the codes to use.

RemoteShutdown allows to remotely (over the network) shutdown and power off or restart any Windows NT/2000/XP Workstation or Server. Additionally you can specify a message which will be displayed before the computer will be shutdown or restart.

Holding the power button for about 5 or so seconds usually will force a shutdown. Just puch it until you see it shutdown. The question is why would you need to?

Oh well, I can code you a very simple program, I made it once but I lost it. Heres how it works:
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
Kayos's Remote Shutdown:
1.Run server.exe on "victim" computer
2.Make sure you know the IP Address on the victim computer get it by using this:
============================================
1.Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt
1.Type ipconfig
3.Where it says IP Adress: *address* copy this down
============================================
3.Run client.exe on the computer your using
4.Type in their IP Adress and press connect
5.Click shutdown(if doesn't work your not connected right)
\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

I will recode this but if I forget to post back in this topic, anyone who wants it can contact me at:
