Jamaican police launched a murder inquiry on Thursday into the death of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer at the World Cup, saying he was strangled.
Police said the death on Sunday was "due to asphyxiation by manual strangulation".

While Two leading Jamaican newspapers quoted unnamed police sources as saying that that Woolmer may have been strangled to death, the same has not been officuially confirmed by the Police sources, who are investigating the matter. A clear picture willemerge only after the investigation is completed.

I think its one of the member of Pakistani Team, who killed the Late Bob Woolmer. I guess, Pakistani team should withdraw from world cup, to show some respect to the Bob Woolmer. He was such a gentleman. I had heard his interview on the BBC. He was looking forward for the world cup. I think he would have left the pakistani team, after the world cup. Its just going to bring bad memories for this world cup, forever. I don't even care now, who ever win the world cup.

bob woolmer was one of those greatest people ever and a legend aswell i believe it was a huge waste of his personality and talent by getting him appointed as a coach of pakistan team and i also kinda have a thought that these types of cricketing boards should not have any coach except from their own regions countries.....otherwise anyone else like bob will be strangled to death.....without a solid reason and in the end i have a personal feeling that woolmer has been a target of loss to IRSH team and somebody just blames his talents and tries to ovecome them....its not practical at all....pakistan team and everyone should be questioned and held in custody here or there somehow they are related to this great all time cricketing world legend!!!!!!!!!!

yeah some bookie or something maybe, but one thing is sure Greg Chappell (indian coach) better either come straight back to australia or back to india with bullet proof vests on cuz they will tear him a new one after getting kicked outa the world cup by sri lanka
