The amount of discharge has increased dramatically. It's white and slimy. It doesn't itch nor does it smell. Now it's creamy white. It comes and goes.

On top of that, I missed my period 3 days ago. Performed two pregnancy tests and both came out negative. I've had cramps and thought my period was coming on...only for nothing to happen. I'm so gassy...it's embarrassing!

At one point, my discharge was foul-smelling (brownish-white, like ammonia). Now I have almost NO vaginal discharge at all. I did douche and it stung my insides a bit.

I made an appointment with the doctor but they have no openings and told me to call them at the end of the week to see if anyone canceled an appointment.

What is going on? I am very worried that I may have something serious...

I'm not sure - Haven't experienced this. But I think I have seen a question like this before on Yahoo Answers and all the answers pointed to "Yeast Infection"

Look up Yeast Infection on the internet - Webmd or something like that.

First of all, do NOT use douches. These do nothing but send bad bacteria further up into your vagina ( and possibly uterus), as well as getting rid of GOOD bacteria that your vagina naturally has and needs.

You may have an infection of some kind, or maybe your body is just doing wierd stuff, which happens from time to time. The cramps you had were probably just indigestion (hence the gas).

You may have missed your period if you have a very low body weight, if you're stressed about something, or if you're doing something with birth control pills. If you're in your teens, that could also do it, since teenage periods are often wierd.

Don't stress about it. It's probably nothing. But stop having sex until this is cleared up (in case it IS an infection) and don't use douches or any feminine washes. Plain warm water is the ONLY thing you should ever use down there, and you shouldn't even try to clean out inside your vagina...it's designed to clean itself out (that's what discharge is for).

don't douche, it is bad for you, disrupts the flora. it could be ovulation or it could be a yeast infection. you can use yeast infection medicine from the store, it won't hurt you. if that doesn't do it, go to the health dept in your town. they will see you sooner. there is a small chance it is a viral wart on the cervix. they need to use a colposcope to check. i wouldn't stress on it, just make sure whatever dr your do pap smears with also has that machine, not all drs have it. if you do ever get it, it can cause cancer.

viral warts do produce a discharge. it tends to have the same appearance as a yeast infection, but sometimes it is flesh colored or brownish or yellowish. the only way to diagnose it is to go to a gynocologist who uses a special instrument, called a colposcope. not all of them used them. if you let it go, it will cause cancer. it is the HPV virus. so if your gyn. doesn't use one, call around and have it checked.

cervix dysplasia
The presence of HPV stimulated abnormal cells can impact the cervix, (dysplasia), the vagina (vaginosis) or the penis (penile wart). The term describes the presence of abnormal cells in the cervical canal that may cause the abnormal tissues development . The changes may be mild, moderate, and severe. This condition is caused by HPV; it is asymptomatic and doesn't cause health problems, but can be precancerous. The presence of HPV stimulated abnormal cells can impact the cervix, (dysplasia), the vagina (vaginosis) or the penis (penile wart).

Cervical cryosurgery or cryotherapy is a gynecological treatment that freezes a section of the cervix. Cryosurgery of the cervix is most often done to destroy abnormal cervical cells that show changes that may lead to cancer. These changes are called precancerous cells. Your gynecologist will probably use the term cervical dysplasia.

I had the same problem, minus a smell. I still don't know what it was, as it wasn't yeast or any known infection according to tests, but I used boric acid and it went away. You can look up how to use this online if you want to try. I just used the powder available in the wound disinfectant section of the pharmacy (Oh, and don't douche!)
