Well I chose iPod Video instead of PSP...partly because since I still go to school, I can bring an iPod to school but not a psp.
Also you can download games onto your ipod too...but psp's are okay too...
I dont really know, but iPod video, the cheapest 30GB I found was $240 and psp the cheapest i found was arount $200. So if money, then get psp
But I think maybe the ipod is better since it is more expensive. I'm not sure but the ultimate decision has to depend on you

PSP has games and can play music and videos and surf the internet (minmally and slowly anyway).... but if you want to be able to play lots of music and movies you have to cough up a lot of money for large memory sticks. like $120 at least for a 4 gig memory stick. If you don't see yourself playing too many games and would rather have lots of space for music and movies... then go for the ipod..
