Don't know, but I once drove from Houston to Dallas in a thunderstorm and turned around and drove back - 10 hours in the same storm system.
Not being an American, I was staggered by the size of the storm and the blackness. Have never experienced anything like that anywhere else.
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and in this case it was true.
