I am middle of the road. I see benefits to both sides, but I tend to lean more Democratically. I just don't care as much about tax breaks as I do about the people. But, some of my views can be fairly conservative as well.

Some issues are simply black or white - there just seems to be no middle ground.
For examples: abortion, the war in Iraq, illegal immigration, same sex marriage and affirmative action. It seems that people will choose either extreme in these examples with no room for compromise or reasonable debate - hence, you get your "square answers" for the "square questions."
