Shadowfax is the white horse that Gandalf rides, Brego is the horse that Aragorn releases from the stable that later finds him and carries him to Helms Deep

Aragons horses are named Brego and Hasufel ( i think i spelled that right). The one who saves him is Brego. The lord of all horses is Shadowfax!

don't forget Bill the pony, the hobbits horse( in the movie, he is not with in one scene and then in the next, never say anything about him, until they get to the mountain, and say good-bye to him) the biggest mistake of the movies.
