Not sure that it is a tear jerker, but the movie Where the Heart Is... it is a wonderful movie. A young girl lives in Wal-Mart because the daddy/boyfriend leaves her. But it is a wonderful movie. You should rent it or something. It would be an old release. You might be able to google it or something. But I LOVE that movie!!!!

The Shawshank Redemption is a tear jerker. I didn't actually cry, but I did have to stop myself (I'm trying to be macho). It's not a chic in love type movie obviously, but it does stir the emo better than a Coldplay song. It might even fix you.

Term of endearment... my dad saw that and he said it was sad. I liked freedom writers, but I didn't cry (though it was one of my favorite movies of all times) and I like Pursuit of happiness, i definately cried... but it was touching at the end :)
