I just finished the book Stardust by Neil Gaiman. I absolutely loved it. I was wondering if anyone has read anything similar they could recommend. I'm going to Cancun in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has read anything good lately. I have a wide range of interest in books. I loved reading the Lovely Bones, I like anything Jane Austen, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime, The Perks of being a Wallflower, Bridget Jones, Chinese Takeout, and The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LaBlanc are a few of my most recent reads....
Anyone got any ideas?

Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder, and then its sequel, Magic Study. Also found in the sci-fi/fantasy section, like Neil Gaiman. About a girl who was sentenced to death but was rescued by agreeing to be the food taster for the commander of the country. A lot of excitement and a little romance... a great beach read!

Right now I'm pushing:

The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town - by John Grisham

or

Terror in America – You Are Not Safe! - by Ned Kalbfleish (available at the link below)

You might try Elizabeth Berg, or Jodi Picoult--in particular "My Sister's Keeper" is supposed to be really good. Also Fannie Flagg writes really good books--esp. "Fried Green Tomatoes"
