Today is my last day on clomid taking it day three of my period through eight and honestly cant remember how many days my doctor said to wait before I start taking ovulation tests. I'm pretty sure it was either wait three or five days to start taking it, HELP!

Probably 4 days is a good compromise. You'll be on day 12 of your cycle which is probably the earliest you'd get a positive.
Manufacturers of OPKs do warn that the tests are less accurate when using clomid, so, regardless of the results I'd try every other day from day 12 or 13 for a week (at least). Make sure to enjoy it too :-)
