I've had Latino co workers tell me white people are the plague on America and been told by management to get over it when I got offended, yet when I joked about not messing with a Cuban friend because he'll kill you in your sleep, I was labeled racist (I'm not). why are whites told to suck it up when every other race sues on basis of discrimination at every opportunity? I have caused no injustices in my lifetime.

I absolutely hate it. I think it is such a double standard. About the latino thing, how dare they say the whites are the plague on America. If they hate us so much, they should go back to their third world corrupt country. Also, I live in SoCal and have to deal with the huge immigration problem. If I am against illegal immigration then I am considered a racist. No, actually I am American and want the best for my country. If anyone is a plague, it's the illegal mexicans who all have the same name and cannot be tracked and use our emergency rooms for routine care and emergency care and don't pay their bills. Now, our health care costs go up. Or the illegal workers that do not pay taxes and send the money they make back to Mexico. Or, they steal Social Security #'s? How is that ever ok..I have a friend that is Mexican and thinks it is??? And then they expect US to learn Spanish in OUR country. Are you kidding? English is the universal business language? Why should we learn the language of the poor Mexicans? Sorry I got on a rant but I said it. I am not racist, just angry. White people can't say anything and everyone else can say anything they want about whites and they're not racist. I don't understand. I am sick of being blamed for things I did not do.

I ask myself this everyday. I have lived in Detroit Michigan and Cleveland Ohio and now I live in California and if any white person says Beaner or ****** than there is a huge deal about it but if an African American or Mexican American says cracker or "you're so white" no one cares. =) So the only thing I have come up with is that in the past whites have done harm to African Americans and we have not been forgiven yet or something? Anyhow- I agree it isnt appropriate but I just try not to make any racial jokes or say any racial slurs about anyone and when other people do it I ignore it an take it asa sign of ignorance and nothing more. I'm a harmony kind of girl and would much rather have peace than be allowed the fairness of being white and using racial slurs.

If you or some white person you know were killed or injured by a minority, because you were white, it would be considered a hate crime in court. The business place is behind the times.

more than half of the whole population are not very intelligent. and blame others on what they didnt do. the only reason people sue is to get $$$$$$$$$ just look at the courts their is always cash involved. i agree with you but making that joke was sorta steping on their toes.
