Is Bush setting himself up for another "thumping?"?

Bush's reaction to the November elections was, "It was a thumping."

By refusing to let Gonzales and Rove testify under oath, is he setting himself up or another "thumping!"

It's obvious he has a lot to hide and even more to lose if the truth comes to light. Why else would he not allow them to be sworn in and not allow transcripts? Let the thumping begin!
