Why did the Pentagon go against standard operating procedures the morning of 911? Also... why do you think Bush turned control of NORAD over to Cheney hours before the attacks? Then why did Cheney scramble all our fighter jets away from the crime scene? Any logical answers?

Essay An Incomplete Investigation - Why did the 9/11 Commission ignore "Able Danger"? Wall Street Journal 11/17/05: "Even the most junior investigator would immediately know that the name and photo ID of Atta in 2000 is precisely the kind of tactical intelligence the FBI has many times employed to prevent attacks and arrest terrorists. Yet the 9/11 Commission inexplicably concluded that it "was not historically significant." This astounding conclusion--in combination with the failure to investigate Able Danger and incorporate it into its findings--raises serious challenges to the commission's credibility and, if the facts prove out, might just render the commission historically insignificant itself. … No wonder the 9/11 families were outraged by these revelations and called for a "new" commission to investigate." http://www.opin

Editor's note: The 9/11 Commission Report asserts that only three of the alleged hijackers were known to U.S. intelligence agencies prior to 9/11; Nawaf al-Hazmi, Salem al-Hazmi, and Khalid al-Mihdar. There is no mention in the Report that the names and photographs of alleged hijacker Marwan al-Shehhi and alleged ring-leader Mohamed Atta had been identified by the Department of Defense antiterrorist program known as Able Danger more than a year prior to 9/11 and that they were known to be affiliates of al-Qaida. Able Danger also identified Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdar. http://www.foxnews.com. See also Rep. Curt Weldon, Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, Capt. Scott J. I know there is several therories about what actually happened on 9-11 and I am sure I don't know , but, there are some mighty strong and believable sayings that would point to the Mossad that did this Job, after all who had the most to gain? a good detective would look for a motive, opportunity, ability, available evidence at the scene of the crime,I don't think the investigation was did for the purpose of finding the facts but only to try and satisfy the public, I feel they know damned well who pulled ths caper, and it was not O,B,L, he couldn't have he was in a cave in Afghanistan, in order for these buildings to come down in the manner they did it was like a sword cutting thru it and the floors started crumbling down one on top of the other, very neatly, had a plane hit the building as they say it by all means should have come down at least spread out over the whole area, this has the makins of a inside demolition experts work, O.B.L. evidently is not a expert, if he was why are they screwing up so much with their road side bombs etc?why were there only one Jew in the building ? maybe he didn't get the word or?normally there should have been at lease over a hundred, at this time of day.
then why were 5 Israeli's celebrating and so happy when the building was burning? why did they hold them for almost 3 months and 3 of them were Israeli'Mossad agents here illegallly? they failed the F,B.I. LIE DETECTOR TEST, but they sent them back to Israel? America got rid of Israel's worst enemy and they didn't fire one shot nor lose one man, who has pulled simular stunts such as bombing a Anerican ship that was unarmed the U,S,S, Liberty and killed over 50 of our men, and wounding over 100 more?and so many other evil deeds against America all with impunity,it seems to me like these are very serious questions that should be resolved,
and this last idiot who confessed surely you don't buy that ?

Because it is the first time an attack such as this ever occurred in the US.

Telling a fighter to shoot down a commercial plane, filled with Americans they swore to defend, just didn't sit well with anyone in the loop.

Why didn't you call the pentagon and tell them that the hi-jacked planes were going to be flown into the WTC?

911 was the new face of warfare. NOBODY knew for sure what was going on due to complete lack of communication between airports, the airforce, the White House, etc etc. Al Qaeda found a weakness in our civil defense and exploited it. If you're one of those nut balls who is suggesting that the Bush administration had a hand in 911, then I am clearly wasting my time.

he scrambled the fighters away from the area because what was done could not be solved by fighter jets - the scrambled fighters escorted any and all remaining planes to the ground or out of american air space. To suggest that this was orchestrated by our goverment is ludicrous.I will pray for anyone that supports this theory.

Rather than scramble jets from close by they were from over 100 miles away and there was quite a delay. Some weren't scrambled until after the second building was hit.

You've got the culprits - Now you gotta prove THEY pulled it off!!
With all the conjecture about this scenario, I still find it hard to believe even these two would perpetrate such a thing. It is a bit much. It looms moreso now because of Cheney's obvious 'pocket-lining' and Bushes bumbling and lying(although others made them up and he was mental-midget enough to buy it!!).

I do not know that the front end crew knew what was going on until it was too late......Re; norad, you have your statement incorrect!

Let's see first off they found out too late and second would you really have wanted them to shoot them down? And also like they knew that they were gonna crash into building. Most past hijacking did not end this way. Get a clue.
