My sister accidentally mistyped her password on her laptop. Now, she can't log into her laptop anymore. What should I do to help her situation.

Give Ophcrack a try. You can burn a "live CD" and just run it on the laptop at boot and it will run the password cracker. Nice and easy.

I think if you restart your comp, press either F8 orF12, (its one of the function keys anyway) you choose start in safe-mode, when you get to the windows safe mode, you go into control panel/user accounts/and choose her accound, then delete password.
failing that, do a system restore in safe mode, ( choose a day or so ago ) that should do the trick

There should be now problem--turn computer off and
on again should be no problem.
