What can you see??

I see a stuffed monkey,a book,a lamp,an mp3 player,letters & my bottle of San Miguel.

There's an orange and white-striped (ex) tom cat licking his stomach while sitting on the computer hard drive (at least I think that's what that part of the computer is called!). Now he's licking in between his toes. A very meticulous cat!

Melting snow, in the night. It's dark here right now because it is ten in the evening, here in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. I can see the snow shining in the moonlight... and it has been melting all day long. My window overlooks a vast lawn which is part of a public park beside my home here. People come and go - it is a family park, essentially - and walk their dogs and have a good time. People ski here, and when they can get away with it, you will sometimes see a snowmobile skoot through unannounced... headlights dancing on the snow, and we have three different kinds of ducks feeding at our bird feeding station, together with cardinals, blue jays, red squirrels, grey squirrels, mourning doves, pigeons, chickadees and an occasional hawk, when all the other little creatures vanish, to protect themselves. An occasional car drives by, someone on his way home from work, change of first to second shift kind of thing.. also a wall to my right containing a wonderful collection of big band music from the forties numbering about 130 older audio tape cassettes which I can play in my tape player... we're back in 1953 here, you see. What else? Silence. You can't see it, but you can feel it. Now you know exactly what is outside my window here in Maine, U.S.A. from where you are. Best to you, always. Chris!

Jar full of pens, a tall Guinness hat my son won in a St Patrick party, ashtray-shame on me-headphones, a fisher bean, web cam, the other PC, keyboard etc, shelves full of books and CD ROM's and best of all a vodka and diet coke with loads of ice!
