If you're talking about keyboards/piano, what I did to lengthen my reach was work on stretching my hands to increase the length between my thumb and pinkie - basically spreading open my hand and putting slight pressure, pushing my thumb and pinkie back. I now have a perfectly straight line when I extend my hand.

If you're talking about any other instrument, I don't know what to tell you. :p

I would just try, when you are in class in school, bored or just not doing anything, stretch your fingers, because sometimes when they are playing, they can get too tight and wont reach your chords. I play piano regularly and I think that using a stress ball also really helps. Don't forget to curve your fingers when you play also!!! (that is my weakness that causes me to also not reach my chords) Keep on playing! :)

ok, my guitar instructor told me that you should go up and down the 1st 4 frets with your four fingers. going down and then up the strings. practices this will help break your "web" (make your hand more flexable. it will also help you with hitting the right string. good luck and have fun!
