its the e-mail address you used to register with Paypal.
Therefore, people should send you payments to:
youremailaddress@yourdoman.com

I have been getting scam emails from someone claiming to be PayPal. Do not give info to someone unless you are positive it is PayPal.

your email address is your id then you have a password...which was put in by you when you started your account. If you cannot remember it there is a link you can click on and they will email it to you.

go to paypal and sign up for an account, they will tell you all the info you need to have.
