WHAT DO I DO? Will Rhapsody or another music provider let me? What am I doing wrong? HELP!

If you bought them on itunes, they are superuberWTFleetzornubproofw/BBQsauce encryted so the only way you can listen to them is in itunes and on an ipod. But fear not. I have devised a way to get around this. Fancy language aside, if you burn the protected songs to an AUDIO CD, then import via another player (windows media works fine), the file is no longer encrypted. It might me more work than you want, but it works. Using this method, I have changed every downloaded itunes music track that I wanted into a nice little MP3 file.

BTW, don't mess with other programs, they are hard find and/or are full of viruses. My method works. Period.

You will either have to find a program that can copy the AAC files to MP3 and remove the security or you can burn the AAC files to an "Audio" disk. If you create a disk you can rip them back as MP3. The only problem is that you can only do about 12 at a time and the CD's are wasted unless you also want Audio versions.

Well, if you know how itunes stores it's music, it is possible to find the songs you want and convert them to MP3 using another program. Then you can use any standard cd burning program to create a mp3 disc.
