its just a picture of a periodic table with Tin missing on it, and then the title of the brainteaser is "Greater Shanghai?"

What could it mean? Tin is the 50th element in the table, between Indium and antimony. The symbol for 50 is L (roman numerals). The symbol for tin is Sn. Greater Shanghai is both a region of China and the name of a ship. Wish I could help.

here's an idea from me...

no tin = nothing. so nothing is greater than greater shanghai? :D
