I take it alot for pain but is taking too much a bad thing?

A one time dose of too many aspirin probably won't hurt you.
You will probably experience ringing of the ears until it wears off.
Prolonged large doses of aspirin can eventually cause stomach ulcers,the deminishing of joint cartilige,thinning of blood (you have a major accident,it is possible that you could lose blood faster) and liver damage.
Prolonged large doses of aspirin can cause you to become immune to that particular dose of aspirin so eventually you will need even larger doses to control your pain.
Try to pinpoint what is causing your pain and try alternative pain control.

Excessive use of aspirin can cause stomach problems, so you should probably take coated aspirin tablets. You may notice that you also bruise much easier, aspirin is a natural blood thinner.

rox don't take a lot of asprin or other pain relievers. Tylenol can cause liver failure and asprin thins the blood so it can kill you if you take too much of it. Asprin can also give you ulcers and cause a need for a colostomy and those aren't fun.

yes taking to much is bad for you=it can make you constipated and if you cut yourself you will bleed a lot
and you might have a bad reaction to too many at once

you can die, become addicted, your body can get use to it and then when you really need it, it wont work.
also aspirin isn't good for anyone under 18. which means midol as well.
I'm allergic to aspirin.

you can give yourself one hell of an upset stomach,along with some gi bleeding and even problem with your blood clotting..you should see a doc to try a better way to relieve your pain

When you hear a high pitch ringing in your ear, you have reached your limit. Back off before it does damage.

yes it is it can damage your liver and cause internal bleeding.i dont know what kind of pain you are having but you should see a doctor.good luck!
