No, no, no. Wicca has nothing to do with the devil, that was a scare campaign the church used during witch-hunting efforts and it is a little strange how several hundred years later it still pervades modern society.
The Wiccan arts are similar to the druidic practices of ancient Europe and rely predominantly on nature and the energies present there.

You just need to do your own research on Wiccanism, Paganism and Witchcraft. "The Craft" was just a movie! Witches are not with the devil and although you can run into a bad witch, it is not likely! I have studied the Wiccan religion and here is a variation of the Wiccan Rede for you to read:
Bide you the Wiccan laws you must, in perfect love and perfect trust.
Live and let live, fairly take and fairly give.
Cast the circle thrice about, to keep the unwelcome spirits out.
To bind the spell every time, let the spell be spake in rhyme.
Soft of eye and light of touch, speak little and listen much.
Deosil go by the waxing moon, chanting out the Wiccan rune.
Widdershins go by the waning moon, chanting out the baleful tune.
When the Lady's moon is new, kiss your hand to Her times two.
When the moon rides at Her peak, then the heart's desire seek.
Heed the North wind's mightly gale, lock the door and trim the sail.
When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss you on the mouth.
When the wind blows from the West, departed spirits will have no rest.
When the wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast.
Nine woods in the cauldron go, burn them quick and burn them slow.
Elder be the Lady's tree, burn it not or cursed you'll be.
When the wheel begins to turn, let the Beltane fire burn.
When the wheel has turned to Yule, light the log, the Horned One rules.
Heed you flower, bush and tree, by the Lady, blessed be.
Where the rippling waters go, cast a stone, the truth to know.
When you have and hold a need, harken not to other's greed.
With a fool no seasons spend, or be counted as his friend.
Merry meet and merry part, bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind the Threefold Law you should, three times bad and three times good.
When misfortune is enow, wear the blue star on your brow.
True in love you must ever be, lest their love be false to thee.
These words the Wiccan Rede fulfll: An it harm none, do what you will.
Notice at the end where it says: An it harm none, do what you will.
Like I said before, you just need to do your own research, I did!

Ummm... I can't speak for the Witch community, but I can assure you that the movie The Craft, while a really good movie, isn't a good representation of our religion. Yes, they got somethings right, but a lot of things they got wrong. Some the things the girls used spells for, no self-respecting Wiccan would actually do, and would never actually happen at all. However, they did get the whole ethical rule part right, and also the whole rule of three part, see the end where the head "witch" went insane because she misused her powers! And Witches are able to wear any symbol of any religion. Our being Witches doesn't mean that we can't wear a cross at all!

Not all witches are bad or evil.
Most witches are food witches who do their best to help other people.
Real witches live by the rede.
Here is an abbreviated version of the rede
To follow the Wiccan law ye must
in perfect love and perfect trust
Eight words the rede fulfill
"an ye harm none do what ye will"
What ye send out comes back to thee
so ever mind the rule of three
Practise this with mind and heart
and merry ye meet and merry ye part.
Wicca is one of the many religions I explored and learned about while I was searching for a religion that answered my spiritual questions.
Wicca didn't answer my spiritual questions but then neither did Catholocism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Taoism, Islam, etc.

Not all witches are evil or bad. There are really no stupid questions, except for the ones you don't ask. I am just glad to see that someone is openminded enough to ask. That is very refreshing. But there are good and bad wicca practitioners out there. And you have to be very careful when you are dealing with any of them. You have the ability to tell the difference between the two if you get in touch with your sixth sense. Every one has one and most people never use it. I am blessed because I have been working on mine and my parents did not fill my head with alot of negative stuff that does not help you in the long run. Keep that open mind and you will be amazed at what you learn. Blessed Be.

"The Craft" is a work of fiction and does not actually represent witches. Do some research on Wicca. It has nothing to do with the Devil. They don't even believe in the Devil.

the Craft is a movie that is loosely based on the occult. but really had nothing to do with Wicca or Witchcraft or Paganism.
we are spiritual people that follow a religion of nature. the christian church and mass media have made us into the subject of horror movies and scary stories in an attempt to demonize us and to villify our religion and beliefs.
I can wear a cross just as easily as i wear a penticle or any of my other jewlery. we are not evil and most of us do not even believe in a devil of an afterlife of punishment.
we are peacful people that are usually happy just being left alone and blending in with society.

Harry Potter has some occult in it so people can get wicca confused with the occult or satan, but wiccans can be black witches to, and some wiccans will swear that is not possible, that all witches are white, or green tree hugging witches 4 peace, but I was a black witch once.

That's because those girls were a bunch of Goth wannabe fools who called on "demons" or evil spirits or whatever and the crosses were just fashion to them.
"Goth" culture is a throwback to Victorian times, when people were very interested in mourning/death (black clothes, predilection for moping around in graveyards and the like), churches/architecture (crosses), and the occult (fairies, witches, Egyptian ritual, ceremonial magic, all that Aleister Crowley/Order of the Golden Dawn stuff.)
Tarot, ankhs, robes, crosses...it all comes from the same area. Victorian times were kinda weird--they were repressed sexually, but totally into sexy books and the occult.
The Craft represents the Christian idea of a witch as a perversion of a saint/priest, a crazy evil woman who's in league with demons.
But that's not in line with Wicca or Paganism/Neo-Paganism in general.
It's all Hollywood. All witch-hunt garbage like back when they used to hang witches and burn them at the stake.
It's interesting, but it's propaganda. Thinly veiled propaganda.

Misconception. Witches are not evil and not with the devil nor are they bad. In fact, many really do not believe there is an actual Satan. Witches can and do wear an equal arm cross.
As us witches say - "Do as you will - an harm none"
