what happens the reaction of al +cucl2+h2o=alcl3+cu?

please reffer at colours , type of reaction , why it is a redox reaction , this is what i think it is , but i have problems expressing in english

JZ is right. Award him full points. CuCl2 is a greenish-blue slue solution. Al is a silvery-white metal. Cu is an orangey-red metal on the surface of Al. Cu is reduced from +2 to 0, gaining two electrons. Al is oxidized from 0 to +3, losing three electrons.

Redox reaction because Al loses electron, Cu gains electron. Al is oxidized, Cu is reduced.
