My son is 22 weeks old and I still haven't lost half of my baby weight. I have been trying so hard, I have completely changed my eating habits, I exercise, and so much more. I don't know what else to do. I have made an appointment with my plastic surgeon ( I had a breast reduction three years ago) to see if there was something that she thinks would be better for me. Oh, by the way I am 22 years old.

I am a plastic surgeon in Houston and will tell you that it is a mistake to have any sort of plastic surgery so quick after your pregnancy. I have patients wait at least nine months after delivery (or 6 months after they finish breast feeding) before considering any liposuction or tucks. It takes that long for your body's hormones, and subsequently your weight and fat distribution, to stabilize to give you a good result.

I wouldn't have plastic surgery yet. They'll do liposuction or a tummy tuck, and you don't wanna do that if you'll have more kids. I'm 20 and my son is almost 1, I haven't lost the weight and I have just gave up. Oh and 22 weeks isn't very long, give it a year.

I wouldnt get plastic surgery just yet, Loads of my friends who have had kids who were pro dancers before [regnancy with perfect bodies and a healthy lifestyle took a while to get back to their normal figure some a few months, but 4 of my best buddies took about a year to get back to their normal weight and now they look great.

Plastic surgery is great if its a last option but after only 22 weeks I think the risks of general anasthetic and scaring just isnt worth it yet, not only that your bubba really needs you healthy, happy and full of energy right now, if you got suregry it would take time for you to get back into routine again, give it a bit more time and see how you go. at least another two months then go talk to your doctor

They say nine months on, nine months off. Fun is, right? My son is nine months and I haven't lost all the weight yet either. Like you, at five and a half months I still had about half of the weight to go, now I have six pounds left. Just keep eating right and exercising, it'll come off slowly. I wouldn't worry about plastic surgery yet. Good luck and congratulations on your son!
