I had a family dr he left retired 5 yrs ago now i was fine up untill 2 yrs ago then I got very sick with epilepsy and have injured my back and leg. I c a cr for my pain but she leaves 4 retirement in less than 1 month i have seen oand or tried 56 doctors and all have turned me away alot to do with the pain meds i'm on and have been 4 2 yrs now and if i stop them i'd need hospital care I could wind up in heart trouble. Please if any1 does no a dr please send info my way please i need help bad I have seizures daily and my pain is out of control@ times from fallen so much haven daily seizures body doesn't have enough time 2 heal from my last seizure 'cause there daily.

Can you ask your 'cr' for a referral to a suitable doctor? Or ask her/him who you can ask for someone to oversee your complete medical/medication history and to be able to help you. You need someone who is a gifted diagnostician.

Darn Miranda....I truly feel bad that you still haven't located a doctor that is willing & compasionate enough to treat your pain since you last sought information for a local doctor on Yahoo! Answers a few weeks ago. Having broken my back, and 6 ribs in a car accident I am famiar with the CONSTANT pain you are dealing with, the need for effective....meaning strong....pain medicine and in the begining convincing my doctor that I really needed strong pain killers and not just wanting them to "get high"!
Miranda...if it wasn't illegal, let me repeat that; if WASN'T illegal...I would be happy to send you 100 of my Percocet (oxycodone) tablets. Yes...my back pain is that bad and my doctor prescribes them for treating my migraines too.
Pain really sucks doesn't it, Miranda? Good luck.

Sorry you are still seeking help. Surely there must be some one in Canada? This is a terrible situation for you. I hope people in your area on answers can give you a solution.
Do you have to show insurance, can you get insurance with your ongoing problem?
As I am from England I am shocked to hear you are still waiting for help.
Can you write to your local paper and get them involved?
I hope you find relief soon. x
