Well u already know how greedy I am.
Dancing and drinks to create sexual tension and to heighten both physical and mental attraction and then.......
Movie at home for romance, bonding, and possible sexual exploration ;)
The movie at home is the best option, but dancing and drinks before hand can enhance the romantic experience.

I say staying in and renting a movie. That way that gives yall time to bond,and just talk about things you never have before. If you want to drink, go and buy some and stay in the house. If you want to dance turn on some music,and dance with your partner. That's romantic.

I'm with you on this: staying in definitely has a lot more romantic possibilities. For a start, you're already alone (together) -- no obnoxious crowds, extraneous noise, music so loud you can't hear your date shouting (even!). At home, you can really create the atmosphere of your choice with dimmed lighting and candles, a fire in the fireplace (if you have one). Drinks are cheaper, the bedroom is a lot closer. How can going out compete?

Well I like dinner and movie out. My husband doesn't drink or dance so how about a dinner and a movie out. I just need to get out of the house some.

How about a compromise? Going to the movies then then having a romantic night at home. Or going dancing then have a nightcap at home.

We never had a video player and after Gwenneth died I hit the everclear and absinthe very badly.
So, no more "drinks" and movies are occasional visits to the local cinema.
I will drink a toast to all of you at bedtime in nice warm cocoa.
