I have been a Sabres fan since I was 11 and the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals introduced me to the sport of hockey and the pain and heartbreak that is being a Buffalo sports fan.

I grew up a Candiens fan mainly because my mother was a Maple Leafs fan. For a while I followed the Cleveland Crusaders in the old WHA and then the Cleveland Barons in the NHL. Now its the Penguins and the Sabres, but I also try and keep an eye on the players who are in the NHL now who used to play for the local major junior team.

Gotta go with hmmm lets see they played with more heart then any other team in the playoffs last year according to all sporting news papers and ESPN but it was not ment to be due to injuries but this year injuries are not an issue so Stanley Cup here we come, Oh you should know by now.The Buffalo Sabres they are over due.

San Jose Sharks.
I love everything about them. I think they have an awesome group of forwards in Marleau, Thornton, and Michalek. They have a nice young defense core in Erhoff, Carle, and Vlasic. They have true team player goalies in Vesa and Nabby. The shark tank is nice, the teel colors are unique and their black 3rd jerseys are just cool. A Stanley Cup this year would just make everything complete!

Pittsburgh Penguins...and they have been my favorite team for 20 years. I got to watch them win both of their Stanley Cups and I even skipped school to go to the rally held in the Three Rivers Stadium...my mom took my sister and I.
I've seen the Lemieux era, the Jagr era, and now the Crosby era...and I'm loving every minute of it. I don't live in PA anymore, but I'm proud to say that I'm officially the only person in the entire state of Arizona to have a GO PENS license plate on their car!!!

Buffalo Sabres and the Minnesota Wild are my 2nd. Those are the only teams i follow closely...that meaning like every game i know what the score is and who scored and stuff like that..go on their website every day..all the other teams i just know like if they are playing that date.
