The most meaningful thing you can do for those teachers is to hand-write a personal thank you card telling them what they have done for you. Teachers get many gifts (all the little do-dads you see hanging around their desk and room,) but if you write a note, they will remember that gift forever. Teachers feel under appreciated at times, and I think it would be nice for you to let them know they are.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

A hand written letter telling them why they made a difference in your life is something that every teacher would love to get. So many times we don't feel like we are making a difference. Teachers need valadation that we are doing the right thing by our students and what better way then by telling them yourself. P.S. I love gift cards to the movies.

Any good teacher works hard and brings home a lot of work after school hours. They don't have a lot of time to pamper themselves. A gift card or gift certifcate to a day spa, car wash, beauty salon or barber shop s/he likes would be something nice. Any gift that DOESN'T have to do with teaching would be thughtful.

If the teacher's a woman, then get her jewelry, such as earrings, necklace, or a bracelet. Just make sure you don't overdo it with the accessories on the jewelry. For example, make sure the earrings aren't too dangly and don't have too much junk on it. Just a simple, yet beautiful piece of expensive jewelry.
If it's a man, get him something like a sports cup. Last year, my friend gave my homeroom teacher a cup with all his favorite sports team names on them. He was smiling like a fool when he got that. It might've been simple, but it was something he appreciated.
And make sure to include a hand-made card that expresses all your thanks to them. It would mean more than a store bought one because it shows you took the time to actually to do it.

A personal note is always my favorite. If you wish, give your teacher a gift certificate to a book store....they can get something personal or something for their classroom! You're a very thoughtful student, I'm sure your teachers will miss you!

What a nice idea. I don't know how much you want to spend, but buying gift certificates is always a good idea. Maybe a nice restaurant or department store cards. That way, they get to pick what they want. Give that with a nice note and you will make their year!

I keep all the letters. They really mean a lot to me. I have 10 teachers in my family and we all agree the letters are the best.
If feel you must give a _gift_ gift then I would suggest a gift certificate to a restaurant or coffee shop or bookstore.

The best gift is a brief note stating just what you've told us. It will mean a great deal to your teachers. Good luck in high school!

How about books? That implies you have a personal knowledge of the teacher and what s/he likes.
