he gets a new cosutume that is really cool...its black and increases his powers and makes him really strong...
but it turns out to be venom, the most awsome-est bad guy ever trying to take him over so he defeats it. however venom takes over some other poor sap and trys to kill spiderman again...
c'mon...venoms like the best villain in all of spiderman

oh my goodness. well, aparently you are not the mother of three boys (one mine two his) and the "wife" of a man who things comic book characters is a religion.
here goes-
the suit is not a costume, but an actual entity that takes over spider man's mind for a bit and causes him to do bad things. during the mini series "secret wars" the beyonder has god like powers and no memory. he comes to earth and messes stuff up by changing things around. super hero's come together to attack him. spider man gets the costume from the beyonders replication machine. stuff happens to the costume (short vers.) and when he puts it on, it is actually venom, and well, spider man the good guy is lost for awhile.

because in this movie he has found the power of the "Dark side" according to the movie clips I have seen, in this episode Spider must decide whether he will be motivated by love and light, red costume, or hatred and darkness, ala Darth Vader, aka Anakin Skywalker. The subplot of this one is whether he will be a good guy in red, or a bad hombre in black.

it isnt I think you are thinking of batman. Spidermans costume is red and blue with spider web on it (i think)

I read in the comics its the sybiote he gose in to space and some kind of alien attacks him and cahnges his suit balck?
