i have always been obsessed with the mafia is there still any nationality of mafia in the us and if so where?

Yes, the mafia is still in the US. The Italian mafia is still here, but they maintain a lower profile now ever since the teflon Don John Gotti was put away for life. Even tho he's dead (RIP), his family and connections are still operating...Didya think the US could really extinguish the mob?
I regularly see a Mafia Soldier and many Mafia Associates in an area I know (East coast),...but won't tell you where.
Interestingly, they don't bother the locals & are relatively decent guys. Problems occur if they are crossed--you'll feel a chill down your spine (possibly alot worse if your not smart).
These guys are NOT idiots. They are very shrewd and the most street-wise of all. They get alot of respect just strolling down the street...

Yes just about 5 yrs ago UPS found a leaking book. in it there was a head the mafia sent to some1. its really disturbing DONT GET INVOLVED!!

I'm sure there are many. Luckily since the FBI cracked down on them back in the 60's they no longer "own" police stations, judges, and politicians.
