Albinism is a regressive trait. Breed two white mice and all will be white.
Each of your baby mice carries one regressive gene from the mother and gets their color from the father who probably didn't have the regressive gene at all.
When these baby mice reach maturity, if they breed with another mouse that also carries the regressive gene, then they may have some offspring that are albino.
Simple probability suggests that the father did not carry the regressive gene at all.

Yes it's normal... it's just genetics (genotypes and phenotypes)... was the father gray in colour?
The albino [characterized by non-pigmented fur (white) and non-pigmented eyes (pink)] genotype (genes) are most recessive whilst the grey coat-hair colour and black pigmented eyes are the dominant one over the albino
So if the FATHER was grey colour and black eyes then he might carry genotypes of:
- grey coat, black eyes
which maybe why the babies all have grey coat and black eyes
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR MICE TO BE BOTH GREY COLOUR AND HAVE PINK EYES (SINCE PINK EYES IS OF ALBINO => THE RECESSIVE TRAIT CAN NEVER DOMINATE THE DOMINANT TRAIT

If the father is white and with pink eyes too then at least some of the offsprings should be like the parents. Genetics. Like with my parakeets if I pair a female lemon yellow with red eyes with a male lemon yellow with red eyes more than 50% of the chicks turn out to be colored like the parents. So maybe the father is not white.

that's fine, actually i've seen that happen a good many times, with gerbils and mice. sometimes the babies/pups get recessive genes. i do know that the way you described the mother, it sounds like she had the recessive gene of albino type coloring, and that usually won't show up on babies. my mom has a friend who has a lot of small animals and reptiles, and i've seen stuff like that and also where maybe all the babies look like the dad, and none look the mom or somehting.
it's normal, good luck with your mice!!

Albino mice have a double recessive gene for white.. if there is a color gene, the color will show either as a fancy (multi-color) or as a blend, hence the gray with dark eyes.

you didnt say anything about the father mouse. however, i believe that white fur and pink eyes are recessive genes meaning they will only show up if both the mother and father carry them

yes this is normal, it's their genetics. the hamsters ancestors were most likely gray, so you baby hamsters turned out gray. their fur may get lighter when they get older though, my hamster's fur did.
