I'm going to Mexico and the ocean there is really rocky. I don't like how "water shoes" look, are there any other shoes that you can wear in the water, or a certain type of water shoe that is cute?

Wal-Mart has water shoes that look like sneakers. The feel very good when you where them barefoot and your feet do not stink. You can also where them out in public. No one will notice they are a water sock. The run for about $6-$10.

You can get a pair of Chacos that'll last you forever. They are sandals so you can wear them everyday (ridiculously comfortable), you can wear them hiking since they have a lot of support (I got the ones with the toe strap), and you can wear them in water. Some other great things about them is that when they're dirty you can throw them into a washing machine or dish washer (weird, I know) and they'll be like new. You can get them re-soled and re-laced pretty easily, though you'd have to wear them a lot to get to that point. I've worn mine pretty non=stop since December 2003 and they're still in decent condition. Plus, you can find them on REI's Outlet store!

Try the water shoes from lands end. If you have small feet, check the kids of lands end they have lots of options.
