my husband and i have been trying to get pregnant for a very long time. well we decided about a year and a half ago that if it happens it just happens. well we adopted 4 beautiful children who were a sibling group and the youngest is now 13 months. we decided that we did not want to have 2 babies at the same time so therefore i went on birthcontrol just to be on the safe side. so i have been on birth control for 11months now. well i forgot to take the first 2 of my pink pills which are the pills that you are suppose to take during the time that your period should be on. well during this time my husband and i had intercourse. this was last month and now i am having a funny feeling that i could be pregnant. i have not yet taken a pregnacny test. should i stop taking my pills until i know for sure if i am or not? i don't want to harm the baby if i am. i have not had a period this month, and i am very irritated, and can't really sleep good at night. could i be pregnant???

Yep. Don't put anything into your body until you know if you are pregnant, so you have to take a test.

You may not be pregnant because when I was on birth control pills it didnt matter if I missed the ones you take during you period. If you missed one of the ones with hormones in them then I would be more worried. But it would still be better to take a pregnancy test just in case or go see your doctor because anything can happen.

Good possibility that you are. Take a test to find out for sure. You should ask your doctor as far as taking the pills, but if you have been and are pregnant, the baby will be fine. They don't cause problems in an embryo during early pregnancy.

there is a chance you are pregnant, Take a pregnancy test before you take any more of your birth control.. I really dont think it is good for you to take the pills while being pregnant, so if there is a chance, find out for sure if you can. sometimes missing your pills for 2 days, can mess your cycle,, so maybe you are not, but if you are,, I would say have fun being a busy mother!!

Those are placebos -- sugar pills. Throw them out every month if you like; it won't make a difference.

Actually deep in your Heart u want a child of your own. So hoping to get pregnant u want to try if it is really possible now. This is the reason you are putting yourself & the child (if at all it is Conceived) at risk. Please abstain from having the pills any more. It is not for U (atleast). yes you could be pregnant. dont take any other kind od medicine til you see a doctor.

if you havent gotten your period than that is a pretty good sign that your are.
