In the world, are there more minors (17 and under), or more adults (18 and up). I know the age of adulthood varies from region to region, but I want to go by the American standard (since it is all I know).

On that note, are there more people 21 and up or 20 and under?

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population#Population_distribution it's about 25% 15 or under, so I doubt adding on 15-18 would boost it over half - so more are 18+.

i would have to say over 18 because remember there are 2 over 18 to every 1 under 18 (mother and father) and others who have no children so this is saying that there are twice as much under 18 as under 18

There are less under 18 than in any other age in the western world due to gay sex and abortions. The largest age demigrophics are the baby boomers born in the late 50s and 60s, the age of free love, before the new age was ushered in

Don't know... but there's millions and billions of people population though.

The thing is... about every like 10 seconds, a baby is either born, or someone dies... so world population is already too hard to determine (unless you want to get all mathematical whiz and stuff...)

Let alone people under / over 18...
