I have a 1991 Suzuki DR350 straight dirt bike. It is a kickstarted motorcycle. I cleaned out the carbs and cleaned out the gas line. I have a new spark plug in and i do get spark, i shocked myself with it and thats how i know. i am using premium chevron gasoline(if that makes a difference). i sprayed starter fluid into the carbs as i was directed by a shop, and that didnt work. NO clue what to do next, lol. HELP!!

Forget points and advice for 2-strokes- your bike is a 4 stroke with electronic ignition.
Make sure the kill switch is ON!!!
It is probably just flooded. Close the choke and kick it over repeatedly (up to 12 times or so should do). Keep the throttle closed. Clean the air filter.
Open the choke, you might want to check the carburettor float bowl drain screw first, then keep kicking. Valves or low compression shouldn't stop the engine starting.

stay away fromthe starter fluidunless you are planning a motor job.I know a shop that gets work that way replacing bottom ends.
start at the tank....pull fuel line. Is gas coming out of tanks petcock? yes, hook line back up. carefully pullfloat bowl and see level of gas in there. No gas could mean a stickingfloat needle or float is adjusted incorrectly.
Remove spark plug dryorwet?
if you can on the bike take off a float bowl. is there gas there?
also do an adjusting of the idle speed and fuel mixture....according to suzi repair manual on that engine(probably 2 1/2 turns out from lightly seated on the mixture screw).
I am assuming you do have compression.
If this is a 4 stroke(shows you I drive 2 cycle alot) then you will have valves and maybe they are not closing fully or opening fully. Check valve to rocker clearance to be sure is good.
At this point in time without any feedback, I am going to stop. It should run. Fresh gas has enough "bang" to it.

you might want to check the compression. if it's good then the reed valves might be bad. there isn't much else on a 2 cycle engine. the spark should jump about an inch at least or light up your eye balls. If you have fuel, spark and compression any engine should run. BTW I spray carburetor cleaner in the carbs to get a stubborn engine started. It seems to work better than starter fluid/either. Also clean the carburetor jets and screens. sometimes there is a screen over the jet that needs to be removed before cleaning the jet ( use carb cleaner and compressed air).

I'm guessing it's a 4 stroke? My 2 stroke only gets about 5 or 6 hrs ride time before plug fowls out but you said u changed plug. My second guess would be the coil. Your getting a spark but is it a good enough spark?.. My kids KTM did this and I check for fire. It was getting a spark. Did not know what to do then. I took it somewhere and had it checked out. It was the coil not producing enough spark. Have it checked. Oh and DO NOT use starter fluid, ether can produce to much bang and shatter the piston.... it does and has happened

Your timing may be knocked off...This is a ***** for kickstart bikes...Find TDC (top dead center) of your piston, and see if your ignition points are together.
Pull the fuel line from your carb, let it hang down, and open the petcock to see if the fuel drains good. If so, put it back on...if not, you have a fuel filter problem.
Last suggestion...is it a 2 or 4 stroke? If it is a 2 stroke, the engine is most likely toast...

If you have spark and fuel, there's only one more piece of the puzzle----AIR! The three requirements for an internal combustion engine to run are Fuel, Air, and Spark!
PS: I wouldn't make it a habit of spraying ether in it either!
