Samuel Adams was born in Boston on September 27, 1772.
Adams grew up being concerned about politics.
Mostly, he wandered around discussing how he felt with any listeners.
Unfortunately, he knew that would not be enough to make a difference.
Eventually, he started writing articles about his beliefs.
Later, he started a group called Country Party.
Adams organized the Boston Tea Party to oppose tea tax.
Due to the need to explain his actions, he joined John Hancock.
Adams held a meeting to discuss the British Parliament.
Marking his name onto the Declaration, he proved his loyalty to America.
Samuel was considered a traitor to the English, but he was a big part of our history.

I like what you're trying to do here. However, it needs some work. It reads more like a list or biographical bullet points than poetry.

If I where you, I'd experiment with the wording and see if you can make the lines flow better with more of a literary sound.

Good luck.

Well, your ID is "confused" and I think you are living up to that name. This poem, if you can really call it that, is not about John Hancock. It is apparently about Samuel Adams. Unfortunately, there is no flow to the language and it reads more like a laundry list than a poem.

I think you need to give this another try.
