This happens to me a lot in and around the summer. And it's happening to me today. Well, daylight savings times was actually about 2 weeks ago and ever since it's been real sun shiny and nice outside toward the end of the day when people are usually finished with work, school, and whatever. Anyway, so I always hate it when the nice hot sun is shining into my windows. I always feel like there is something exciting going on and I am missing out. I have felt this way throughout all of my teenage years because I never really got out or had friends to go and hang out with. I want to be at the park with a bunch of hot teenage guys playing basket and just hanging out. But I just don't have any friends. I am 20 and I am waiting to look for a job and I sort of just want to be with gay guys when I hang out. Str8 guys will just talk about girls and I don't want to talk about girls and pretend and all that. And all the gay guys I know are up at that gay community place and are all femmy. So I am

stuck home lonely during yet another nice sun shiny day. And tomorrow is going to be Friday so I am really going to be feeling terrible when that sun is shining into my windows. No gay friends to hang out with and just here lonely and wishing I could party or play some sports with a lot of masculine gay guys but I can't find anyone like that.

Honey, this has absolutely NOTHING to do with being Gay. Either you are as shy as a wild mouse or you forgot to pick up the creativity gene along with your gay genes.
You're 20 years old. You can locate the nearest big city or college town and find out where they have a gay youth group. Go to a meeting. You will be welcomed with open arms.
While you're there, ask what people do to socialize. Most of the people are under age and cannot go to the bars, so they will have other avenues to participate. There are gay bowling leagues, gay soft-ball leagues, gay hiking clubs, gay volleyball, gay choruses, gay marching bands, gay volleyball, gay bridge clubs, gay ultimate frisbee teams, gay soccer teams, etc., etc., etc.
Sitting at home and feeling sorry for yourself is getting you no where, so it's time to change habits. If you're at home alone, consider that you have not been creative enough, not that it's because you're gay. That just isn't true.

you are stuck home lonely bacause you are gay??? i suppose you personalize and you are referring to your own "problem"...i am gay and when the sun shines i go to the beach with my boyfriend and friends...and before that when i had no boyfriend i used to go alone...Your problem is maybe that you need others around to feel security and you cannot do things on your own because of fear. I hope you find out that you can do interesting and exciting things on your own and that you dont need a comparse of 500 hundred people around you to have a really good time...the less people around the less excuses you will have to make out

The sun shines at my place too. I make a point to enjoy it where ever I am.
Get out, go to the park. Nothing will happen if u don't give it an opportunity...

I'm shocked why are you picking on him gees, I can kinda relate although I did have friends growing up, but that was only because I was able to hide my transgenderism back then. But I did get caught allot and I found myself in your same spot before to. But you do have a computer honey and if your not stuck in a rural area I would start looking for support groups in your area. There are all kinds of great places to find and make new friends you just need to now how to find them. Cruise that web honey.
Ps Die Gays don't forget to douche tonight my dog dosen't like it when your not clean.

dude, you need to get out more...seriously! check out some of the websites the previous posters listed. even meeting people on line in chat rooms is good...having people to talk to helped bring me out of my shell. sure, years ago I wasn't happy and I was alone. I had friends I would hang out with, but I eventually I did start talking to people and feeling better about myself. I don't sit at home alone....I get out there all the time with my friends....and I have a wonderful partner to come home to....and we met planetout.com!

I do pretty well... I'm a lesbian with a wonderful wife. We don't really have time for a social life, so I can't really relate to what you're going through. Why not try True.com or something?

You need to join a gay b-ball team! If there isn't one in your area, you could be the one to start one.
