I feel that human, dwarf, or Gnome are the easiest races to play due to quests at their starting locations. basically though, all are just as easy to play as any other. Its a very balanced game that you can either solo most things or join a group/guild and do. I would make a character, play it level 10 (a couple of days) then from what you learned make a 2nd one and play it to 10... 10th is where you get your first cool thing like for example hunters get their pet. Try them all out for just a few levels and see what your playing style favors.

Warrior is one of the simpler classes to learn, although it gets expensive to train after a while. Humans are pretty much the simplest race, with no special activated abilities (all human specials are passive).

I think warrior/human is pretty easy to get used to. All you do is get the best armor and weapons with the highest values and attack people with your sword and shield.
